Anything exciting happening in Napier?

I am visiting Napier for a week and was wondering whether there was anything exciting that someone could do while up there on their own? I have been to the Aquarium etc as a kid and not that keen to go this time. Is there anything else up there?

Lunch or Dinner at Misson Estate is good if your into that kinda thing.....

There's some awesome roads in the area, take a run out towards Gisborne or something for some of the best riding (if it's dry)....

Contact Yungatart, MSTRS and Hxc......... those three are in that area....
and they should be able to show you a good time.

Yungatart is slightly out of action for riding....... but can still hobble around.

Problem is I don't ride yet still waiting to sit my Basic handling thingy. I'm good on the back of the bike though

I arrive on Sat 20th and leave for Welly again on the 27th. Do I need to bring my gear up with me or is that something someone up there can lend to me?

I head back to welly about 10am on 27th so that counts that out. Anything else? Something that will help me meet new people and see what Napier has to offer as I'm looking at moving also.
