Wow, cool Skunk(s), heaps of pics of me in there, awesome, thanks, especially as my photographer was riding in the same group as me most of the day we didn't get many photos of us!
Great photos. Good to see rider in action! Shame about the poor fella who crashed!
If anyone wants higher res images of any of the pics on my site you can download them at 1600x1066px or email their code number and I'll send you the 3504x2336px ones.
I had a video camera mounted on my bike for the 'get to know the track' session. Couple things I found out:
1. the mount was not rigid enough. Last mount was too rigid for the amount this bike vibrates which made the camera turn off.
2. the 'no passing up the inside' rule stuffed me for passing on many corners as the slower riders sat too wide and I'm a gentleman (a rude one, but a gentleman).
So here, to induce seasickness is a very short, very small, clip from the camera. Quicktime or divx reqd.
Location, turn one following pit straight.
I didn't get to see the actual crash as I was looking up pit straight. I heard tyres squealing and turned to capture the following photos.
Well, I tried to upload the photos but KB is going really slowly. Is that happening to anyone else?
Will try again tomorrow.
its slow here, but its always slow here![]()
Paul has a broken collar bone and is sore but ok. No riding for 10 weeks tho apparently :0
. .
Gunner took some Photos when I was out on his bike in the 1315hrs Slow session. Here are a couple which include Kendog with unknown others and one of Ranty Dave. There are others of people I don't know so maybe if anyone spots this post and was in that session then please let me know what bike you were riding and I will see if we have one of you.
pretentious moi?
Good sequence Kendog!!
Got any of a green ZXR145 bucket with a purple tailpiece et al?
thanks for the photos Kendog![]()
I remember someone saying at a previous trackday that that yellow and purple gixxer goes pretty hard, obviously it bit this time. The side of it must look scratched to shit from that chunky gravel.

I don't know if these people are KiwiBikers but I reckon the riders and pillions deserve big respect. Both "teams" passed me no worries so here I was trying my best and this lot come past like they are on a Sunday ride up the Rimutaka's!
NB: The SS pillion was a young lad maybe 10-12years old, I gave him a big thumbs up when they passed me second time out - he was loving it!
