    Comet???

    Has anyone else seen what looks like a very bright comet with a long tail looking south west? It's been in the same position for the last 20 minutes so I don't think it's a plane.

    Fark is it ever - I cant say I have seen anything like that in a while

    Got a pic of it on long exposure, camera battery then went dead, so will see how it came out

    But, what a sight to see riding home after the ride tonight!
    I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

    I just saw it in the sunset while riding home along a quiet motorway. It is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. If you havn't already, go check it out. By far the most humbling experience of my life.

    yeah it would be .. & for you wellingtonians .. get away from street lights .. low in the south west ...
