    I don't give a rats about cricket, other than working on an Australian facility during cricket season is bloody torture.....

    NZ cricket is losing a very important player there.

    Hmmm too bad he had to have a slump jsut before the WC, guess he's just had enough


    I must say though that Lou Vincent is a better fielder than Astle, but nothing on him in the batting department, just seems NZ is not only unable to produce batting alrounders (as Hitcher pointed out) but we also seem unable to produce two opening batsmen. How many different pairs must we try before we find our Hayden/Gilchrist opening combination?

    Lou is good, but thats another story.

    Astle has served NZ cricket very well in the past. Lets not start putting him down because of a couple bad games. We all have them.
    I had his video "Master Blaster" a little while ago. Was great watching!
