    Dumped on air...

This takes a while to get started but once it does, it's priceless. For all of those who would love to get revenge on a cheating partner!

I must confess, she deserved to be dumped for cheating on her boyfriend, but I think it was a cruel way to do it. Think they are both better off without each other to be honest!

    Holy fucking crap.

Putting it live on the radio and telling the whole of Yorkshire (pretty fookin big area too) about it is pretty hardcore. But the guy wrote the letter into the radio station and requested that they do it, so you'd have to hope that he heard the source of the information, knew who they were and knew what his girl was perhaps capable of, and judged the information to be accurate. And you'd have to say, judging by her lack of denial over the phone, she was pretty guilty. Still, the extent of the ownage was pretty extreme, not sure she deserved having that information broadcast publicly. Still, at least it was him that asked for it, rather than a third party.

Hate to burst the bubble, but you lot do realise, don't you, that this stuff is almost always scripted? Paid voice actors on the other end of the line, etc?

All bow to the god of ratings and the mighty advertising dollar, and consider this a lesson in why you should grow a larger cynicism gland.

NO!!! Next I suppose you'll start saying that television isn't real and that Coronation Street is "just a television programme". Say it isn't so!

Yes, particularly the bit along the lines of "that's the prize you WOULD have won, if you had not been such a slapper" - priceless!

it's way up there with cleaning the toilet with her toothbrush or sewing seafood into the hem of her favourite coat as far as i'm concerned - well-deserved and wickedly appropriate!!
