A very dangerous practice now you've got more horses up your arse (staying on topic... ). Good luck with the new ride - You going to be there Thu night?

enough horses to warrant needing a fence... ..fence?

I may skip the Thurs ride for a few weeks until i get used to new ride, having lots of 'near misses' and 'minty moments' on it...

Be TEC that way you have to go slow and that way you will get to know your bike and how it handles, plus, you also wont get LOST.

A good idea - but I suggest riding with TEC. Just in case.

Your call re the bike - you'll know if you're ready or not. Just... be honest. A loss of pride's nothing compared to a bit of pain

Mate... honestly, if you've brought a bike and you don't think you can ride it from Westgate to Albany safely then perhaps you should take it back.

TEC would be easy mate, Phil usually does it, and you'll keep pace with him easy.

I hear ya, and take your opinion on-board... my confidence on it has gone from "OMG im gunna die, while still standing next to it on the drive" too: "HOLY SH*T that thing is fast!" too today: "woah, I have so much respect for this machine, let me ride in my limits and each day push a little more".

Don't be dissapointed, i can't make it this week.
Their seems to be some kind of steal wires showing trough the middle of my rear tyre .
Save some pennys and get a new one, would be the best option i think

I may also miss this one due to a lack of front suspension damping and a thick greasy fluid exiting the forks.

One less muppet on the road can't be a bad thing

This time of the year it is light throughout the ride, just on dusk when we finish, come along and enjoy.

And on a side note has anyone else noticed it starting to get dark earlier

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round
