getting the fueling right for two strokes is easy.

if you siezed your twostroke at full throttle, you must have really screwed ya jettin up. Full throttle is the easiset palce to tune for. Most two strokes nip at mid throttle.

    But you know that

EVerthoughtthat if it nipped up you could hard wire a fan into the bike as well to also help cool it down? Its a real good idea.

No coin means no buy sorry

My trouble wasn't from fueling that seized the bike don't know where you all got that from ?? nothing in my post that says that ! Run a 500cc non watercooled 2 stroke bike flat out for 3months on the road & you too will find out what Seizes , But you know that right from running your 150cc Watercooled bike AH !

There is a reason two strokes sieze, and that because the dolt running them is doing something wrong. Even air cooled motors!!

If it was heat siezing, did you ever think to give it more piston to barrel clearance, to allow the piston to expand more?

Or more ways, of cooling the bike down?

Are you blind. I dont have a 150, its smaller, its a 125

I guess a 500cc 2 stroke ringing flat tack is gonna go blow I jst thought wire in a fan might help cool it down a bit more

How about fuel? If you could run methanol, it burns a lot cooler than petrol.
I don't think you can run methanol, at least from a vague recollection of another thread. Something about an engine seizing and killing or hurting somebody decades ago, and it being banned as a knee-jerk reaction.

Any bike should not blow up due to heat - look up melting points for the materials.
They fail because a component can not handle the stress levels. i.e. rings jam, oil pumps jam, bearings jam, lubricant jets become to thin or clogged.
The 20c part is the death to many a thing - the temperature just helps it from cradle to grave.

That was American legend Cal Rayborn - killed at Pukekohe when a meth fuelled Suzuki TR500 seized. Seizure wasn't the fault of the fuel - bikes seize just as well running plain old pump gas. I ran speedway bikes for over 16 years on meth, and never seized a piston (did a few cranks, but thats becuase of lubrication failure, not fuel)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Sorry I aint post answers, been busy on other threads makin an arse of myself.

The piston is un scorred from lookin up the pipe hole.

It's been raced F3 by the previous owner, and cookin itself has not been an issue.

He is the same guy that built it, and is bloody switched on with the engineering side of things.

Comes with a few spares too, full set of clutch fibers, few levers, fairing mounts, and some other shit.

BTW, sensei, you're a dick. Bwahahahahahaha

many two strokes get there crank and piston lube from the fuel, so full throttle is not really the problem, maximum oil getting in there. The trouble comes when you back off the gas going into corners, the piston is still flying up and down, but there is bugger all oil getting into the crankcase. At least this is the case with dirt bike twostroke engines. thats why most road going twostrokes have oil injection from what i gather.
that rs125 with the 450 is a fourstroke honda crf450 motor if its the one ive seen, and it really hauls. He passed me round the outside, on my cbr600 like i was going backwards, very impressive.
Id say buy this bike because 'dude, 490cc twostroke!!' enough said.
