Ive seen this bike in the flesh and its awesome, love the single sided swing arm... I learnt to ride on an MC18 NSR
Shame you dont have the HRC card tho.. Ive gotta feeling you are going to be heavily restricted, less of a powerband, wont go above 10,000 revs and wont pull the front wheel up in first..
I know you lose your lights and indicators with the card but you should try get your hands on it...
Confident the aprilia rsv4, IS the one

Love the bike, I wanted one of the NSRs but could only afford a RGV. One question...a dumbarse question...what is swipe card ignition. I gather you have a card the size of a credit card and they acts as a key but tells the ECU what fuel maps and ignition timing to use? Do these cards cost alot of money and are they coded to only one bike or do you still need the normal key to turn it on?

    Very interesting technology!
1990 GSXR 750 - want one, can be crap, can be awesome....pm me.

yeh most ppl just say *you should get the card*]

little do they no the bike wont run off a hrc card,
it requires hrc looming, and the cards dont add much hp (2-4hp)
there for wet / dry / and balanced setups.

this is wat i read on a nsr site,,

so yeh i dont want it directly for the power

and yes it will pull up in first gear,

I had a nsr mc21 , with pipes , open airbox , spliced wires from cdi and hrc carb kit , and dynoed it 54hp I dont think you can get any more out of them with out rs bits in them , I think youd be pushing to get this upto 65 hp , still love it ,wanted it ,sad to see it sold , leave it standard put in a plastic bag and leave it in your garage for ten years awsome bike man

    Noice noice!!

Welcome to the not-so-common Honda club. May your servicing costs be astronomical and your wait for parts long and expensive...

    Very nice...
I moved from MC19 to MC28 as well so I know how you feel. LOL.

The NSR feels like a push bike (no weight at all).

When you get it and had a chance to ride it, can you tell me if you experience any flat spot at around 5 - 6k?
