McJim we originally listed it only in Biker Angels and then had it shifted to meetings and events. Previous attempts at running a girly ride have met with abuse from certain members of the forum and accusations of sexism etc via PM. This time around this has not happened so we are encouraged that people seem to see that a girly ride is not about sexism, but about encouragement and support.

So, yes, I will list it in the events calendar now and we'll see how we go.

Dunno about sexism - just seemed to be a nice idea - the only things I have a problem with are Weasel and Disco Dan dressing up as women.

The closest I ever got to cross dressing was putting my trousers on while in a bad mood.

I would have been really keen to come to this but unfortunately have other commitments on 10 Feb... do you think this could become a regular event... even once a month or something as my best mate and I would be really keen to attend as it's always cool to ride with other girls (kinda takes the pressure off compared to riding with bat outta hell guys all the time ) and is always great to meet other girls who ride.

cant promise a monthly thing, as Keystone and I have track commitments (and her spriglets) ... but we can look at our calendars and figure out some possible future dates if it goes smooth this time....
PM Keystone19 or myself if you have any questions....

I was one of the biggest knockers of any all girly ride last time (not via PM) afterall I would rather watch a blokes ass go flying past me BUT then I thought of Weasel and had a change of mind

Having now meet a whole lot of blimmin awesome girls that ride bikes (thats girls - normal girls) I can understand why Keystone and Nicksta went this way and applaud them for giving it another go.

I am not about sexism but more against separatism be it 250s vs 600s well you all get it I am sure. Good on you two for doing this given the mockers last time (including moi). See you Saturday and am looking forward to it!

PS: Also DucGirl chewed my damn ear off for my comments.

    But but but but...

The only problem I have is that some chicks may see this as the only way they can come out, and that perhaps the guys are too rough (?) so they're afraid to come out. Well I for one am very accomodating to the fairer sex, so don't be afraid to rock on up to any rides and start chatting eh.

Also... I was thinking of running a blokes only ride, but somehow that sausage fest didn't seem quite as appealing as the thought of a dozen hot chicks on bikes

I think MadDuck was talking about your ARSE flying past her...... and that is what caused her to change her mind.......
