Rally at the Wheatsheaf, 30 March-1 April

i was at the wheatsheaf the other day and saw that there is a rally there 30 march - 1 april (i think that was the date)

has this been held before? if so is it worth a look?

Yes it has been there before but seemingly not too heavily promoted. I found this thread from last year (a bit hard to find due to Dangerese) - here. It is a bit close for many of the Chch rabble to be worth staying but could be worth a look in.
I have just found out that they have removed the word gullible from the dictionary

mmmm by the calander on the westcoast mc it seems the Mokinui is on the same weekend.. I think I would rather the excuse for the buller gorge run... and being a Westcoaster at heart does not help either. But then maybe the dates are not accurate?

It was on last year on the 18th Feb, makes you wonder why they would change the date to the same weekend as another already established Rally (Mokihinui)

No, Wheatsheaf is the end of March, I seen it myself and thought at the time it would probably be the same weekend as Mokihinui

As the question was raised here in regard to the Mokihinui Rally 2007 and dates, ha ha yes I was rumaging through unwanted paper, and found that at some rally I must have picked up this form. So being the good person that I sometimes am. Here it is so that you can prepay or organise to go or not. Choices uh

Apologies if you were hoping for a pdf, but jpg is the best I can do.

Well according to that it looks like it's still at the Mokihinui Pub, where did the idea of it being at the Seddonville Pub come from?
