    Runner 200 or GT200?

    Anyone tried both?

The Runner feels nicer to sit on in the shop, but what makes the GT worth $1000 more? It looks like it'll be very uncomfy on the back. And slower too.

    thanks

There shouldn't be any significant difference in performance since it's the exact same motor in there.

The cost difference is probably down to the fact that the GT200 is a metal monocoque body but the runner is a tubular frame with plastic bits bolted to it.

Ride both and make your own mind up, cos all owners of GTs and Runners that I know love em.

    1. chicken coop 2 thumbs up

Insult used to discribe the Vespa (ha ha) scooter due to it's ugliness and comparisons to a laquered snail.

    1. You chicken coop riding queer.
    2. Lets set that chicken coop on fire, it offends me.
    3. I'd rather drink my own vomit than ride a chicken coop.
    4. Thats a fast coop, it passed me doing 15 miles per hour.

    wtf?

    Frothing denied!

No, not seen any new shape around yet, Motomail had one on display at Scooterfest though. I'm still undecided about the bigger front wheel.

If I was getting a new twistngo, I think I'd have a GT I'm too used to all that useful space inside the legshields...hmm really should de-mothball the ET

I'm not assed about the size of the wheels. Just want something convenient for going to work on, and for the missus to sit on the back of in comfort. We had one of the older Runner 200s a couple of years ago, but swopped it for a bike. We didn't need one for work.. and it just sat in the garage gathering dust. That was ok. Hardly used any fuel, and was fast enough with both of us on.
I'd considered a new coop for a couple of minutes, but they're too slow, and the Runner has to be worth an extra $1000. The GT I'm not so sure is worth another $1000. I rode one of the first ones that came out, and that was very underwhelming. The newer ones are supposed to be quicker.. but I've not had a go on one.

    The indian PX clone?

Nah, I'd rather have something that goes round corners, and doesn't feel as though it's being steered from the top of a ladder.

The LX is the replacement for the ET, probably a little bit small if you're planning on doing a lot of 2-up riding.
