Man, I had a great time. Such a worthy cause to give our time and money to and what a great way to do it. Fantastic array of bikes and bikers from every walk of life. Just awesome!

Didn't even get a chance to make a donation this year. Went looking for the girls selling the badges/tickets, but they were not to be found. Apparently they had sold out.

Yep. By the time I worked by way through the pack they'd run out of badges, run out of T shirts except for 3 XXXL and only had 3 sausages left (of which I had one).

They were taking orders for badges, for flok that collect them

Even if they had sold out of gear, they should have kept selling raffle tickets. It's all I wanted anyway.

I suppose they only printed so many tickets. I saw some people who must have bought them in bulk.

'Twas a good turnout, a lot more than last year.

Odd feeling, doing 130+ kph down the motorway and having a wailing police siren come up behind one and give a thumbs up as he tootles past. Every innate instinct was shrieking "Eeeek!" .

Yeah well, my XXXL shirt will happily second as a tent or deck-awning I'm sure. Maybe I should eat more sausages and drink more beer to improve the fit? Great event and very much enjoyed it. If it happens again hopefully the logistics will be better able to keep up with the numbers. Great day out.

Yeeeeha I'm famous. I'm on (sort of) TV in the video. Thats me there, can you see me? Huh can ya!! Thats me and the wife waving.

A good ride, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Not too hot which was good. We also missed out on getting a badge but we ordered one for later and to contribute. I am surprised they do not grab a few volunteers to walk around with buckets and take donations, cause buying a badge seems to be the only way to donate. And I am happy that the helicopter is always there should it be needed. A good cause for people with our hobby.
I'm one of the worlds best riders. I can wheelie, I can stoppie, I can stunt, hell I can get my shoulder down. I could keep up with Rossie if I wanted to race.

Then I go from bed to bike and somehow it all turns to crap.

This was my first time for the ride and I have to admit, I had a lump in my throat at all the spectators and support.
    It was a magical ride.
Maybe Mr Hubbard might have a heart and tell transit NZ to quit their whinging.

Well, that was a bit of fun then, hope it happens next year 'cos I'll certainly be there again. Only decided at the last minute to go, and I'm glad I did. Was the first time the wee GN had done so many k's at full noise (so, about 95-100 ), all the way from the top of the shore down to Papakura. Awesome heading up the motorway again with no cars around!

Even odder was doing 120 on the motorway and having a traffic cop on a motorbike give me a sign to go faster...
I was right at the back so presumably he didn't want anyone behind him.

Yeah also I great time. Thought it was going to be really slow but managed to have quite a blast without all those cars and trucks. Didn;t come across anyone selling badges or t-shirts unfortunately so also missed out on the raffle. Great to be part of such a good atmosphere.

I also missed out on a badge, is there anyway to buy one now?
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    What a kick-ass ride.

Met the mini-tribe at Manukau and pootled down to the Autobahn, whereupon much bike talk and bravado was the order of the hour.

Then off to the meet point, and holy crap - a sea of bikes!

Went walking, got my (still unworn) T-shirt (NYAH NYAH!) talked more crap, saw the next 27 bikes I plan on buying, and then off we went.

Rode a lot, then a lot more...

Got to Akoranga campus, had an ice cream, got nothing in the prize draw, and pootled home.

There was more to it, but doubtless all the stories will be told in time.

Oh, and Minnie gave me my new sig! Thanks Minnie!

Donor: So ya glad you're a Biker?

    Minnie: F**k yeah!
