Well Chickadee came home with a big grin on her face so you lassies can feel free to arrange another ride like that in the future and I'll do Kiddie minding duty for the Mini McJims again.

If anyone gives you stick about it being sexist tell 'em to get a life. I think it was a fantastic environment for Chickadee to get some support and advice. And Keystone19 - your comments re her riding - yep - Chickadee is actually a better rider than me (despite the fact that she's done 2,000 km and I've done 15,000km!) - I know it and admit it!

    Good photies!

Well I did shave me legs and all... Riding is coming along nicely, and man that grin ya had at clevedon was amusing, kinda like the first time I did a wheelie.

Cheers oldguy for doing some taping. Would be interested to see how it came out..
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

    Cool

What a day... it was awesome.....

We all rode well in a pack.......
Nice to see 'my girls' all together on the day (Lteejay, Blondini and Scorpygirl)
and seeing how much their riding has improved... I think Chickadee kinda popped herself in that wee group as well....

Nice to meet a few new faces..... and the usual ahem ol' faces.... (well not old as such but you know what I mean aye)

Yep I split off from the group in Peak Rd..... had a awesome wedding to attend.
    Got home shattered....

Keystone and Nicksta - we need to do this again......

    Hi all

Finally I have got a few minutes to be able to type a few words. Firstly thank you so much Nicksta and Keystone for organising this ride. For me it was my first group ride and the first out to some of the west country roads. I had a really good time and it was so cool to meet new people - especially LteeJay and KittyHawk. The lunch and chin-wag at Muriwai was a great way to spend a Saturday. The weather was just brilliant!!!

Thank you to all those who looked out for me and gave me tips along the way. This was really, really appreciated and I will take any advice on board. I know I need to relax more and get my corners coming together more smoothly. Practice, practice, practice!!

Anyway thank you all and I hope another girl's ride can be arranged in future.

Big thanks to Keystone and Nicksta for organising this. It was great to put faces to names, even if I have forgotten a lot of them (never been good with names). Nice to finally meet you too scorpygirl and thanks to Draco for the advice and the clean lines.
I would love to do this more often - a days riding thoroughly enjoyed

Girl, can you ride that bike or what! Now to get you one that leans over in the corners...

I'm a regular on the Thursday night rides as is Nicksta when we are not tripping around the country with our race bikes!!! White Belt is also a regular and Crashe - be good to see you out there.
