That was some good fun today... Wheely bars everywhere... hard to keep the front down out of the hairpin onto the main straight, It ain't just showing off!!
220 down the back straight, and 245 was the best I saw on the front straight, hard to look at the speedo though, concentrating on avoiding crashes everywhere!!
Hard luck award goes to (in my books) Jason Hulme - Just got his bike back together after dropping a valve at Levels, and then under a red flag a certain rider ran up his arse, sending him flying, and putting the bike out of commission.
And Jared Love, the brother broke his leg hard out. Will go say hello to him tomorrow, and see how he is getting along.
Was an OK day for me, not spectacular, in terms of results, but not bad. Next year should be better, as it takes a while for me to cement circuits into my head. Would be real nice next year if no one drops oil in critical drop in points!!! might have broken into the 50s if not for that!! Next year shall be 47s at worst. Ended up with 51s, and a tenth. Had fun, and learnt lots though, starting to watch racing for the nuances of body and bike positioning, instead of just the crashes
Big ups to Stroudy, for helping Paul and I out with the bike, what a legend!
My utmost thanks go to Graham Cole, pitted for me, and was right there with good advice for this slow learner!
Boyd hh er Suzuki are my heroes!
The best deals, all the time!
