Wow!!! My first Street race... defintly not going to be my last I'm still on a high!

Deano, Goblin, Frosty, scott411, Kicking Zebra, Sparky Bills, Nicko and every one else who was racing today... You guys/gals are totally awesome!!

Big thanks to Jon, Vaughn, Jeff and Tony for lettin me tag along

I have heaps of picks, most aren't all that good but there are a few that are OK... The people who were racing could they please PM me if they want copies?

Here are a few any way I've lowered the pixels in it so they open easier, they might not be as clear though

The second to last one is what I came home to (taken at the lookout)... I love this place

That was some good fun today... Wheely bars everywhere... hard to keep the front down out of the hairpin onto the main straight, It ain't just showing off!!

220 down the back straight, and 245 was the best I saw on the front straight, hard to look at the speedo though, concentrating on avoiding crashes everywhere!!

Hard luck award goes to (in my books) Jason Hulme - Just got his bike back together after dropping a valve at Levels, and then under a red flag a certain rider ran up his arse, sending him flying, and putting the bike out of commission.
And Jared Love, the brother broke his leg hard out. Will go say hello to him tomorrow, and see how he is getting along.

Was an OK day for me, not spectacular, in terms of results, but not bad. Next year should be better, as it takes a while for me to cement circuits into my head. Would be real nice next year if no one drops oil in critical drop in points!!! might have broken into the 50s if not for that!! Next year shall be 47s at worst. Ended up with 51s, and a tenth. Had fun, and learnt lots though, starting to watch racing for the nuances of body and bike positioning, instead of just the crashes

Big ups to Stroudy, for helping Paul and I out with the bike, what a legend!

My utmost thanks go to Graham Cole, pitted for me, and was right there with good advice for this slow learner!

What was the fastest 600 of the day Jonno? Lap times?

When I was racing in 04, it was Sheriffs doing 46 and that was pretty insane!

Andrew clocked a 45.2, just checking to see if they are up on mylaps yet... Bloody fast out there!!
Sorry to all those I missed, I was lucky to be parked right on the pit lane, so never missed a race, and could keep the tyre warmers on till the last few seconds!

That was a bit worrying, the 'certain rider' was heading straight at me, but managed to miss the barriers. Jason's bike hit the barriers on the other side, which then hit two gate marshalls and sent them flying.
Perhaps there needs to be flag recognition lessons.

To all you bistards that did runners from the cops on the the way to Paeroa, thanks a bloody lot. Pulled over by a nice police officer as I thought hey you've got your lights on & I'm 500m's fm. Paeroa, it's a nice day and I wasn't speeding exccesively so i'll pull of the main drag and go to park on this side road, well bugger me that was not good as he thought I was going to do a runner ( would I have been braking and indicating if I was going to run ) so does the old rolling block & forces me off the road (nearly stopped I might add). Poor bugger was that wound up so I asked him to settle down please, he explained that there was heaps of bikes that had done runners this morning hence the rolling block, he did state"hey we cannot use spikes on you guys" I said "thank fuck for that officer Ted".Anyway you always take your medicine in these instances and wished the officer a nice day. Once he'd settled down he wasn't to bad a bloke that was just doing his job. His aggressive tactics did freak me out initally but hey they deal with alot of arseholes.

Was sat hafway up the Kaimai's for a while. Fak me there were lots of bikes REALLY going for it on the way home. I mean...how dumb is that? It's farken obvious there's gonna be loads of cops for miles on every road around Paeroa.

Nah, took SH2 all the way back to Auckland and didn't see one cop. Maybe they concentrated on your lot and left us Orks to have some fun

I caged it back to Auckland and saw 1 cop outside Paeroa and that was it. Plenty of bikers prepared to give us a bad name though. Not so much speeding but stuff like overtaking into blind corners, cutting up cars and so on. Makes it tough for the rest of us, eh?

A great day out. Took my son, his mate and my Dad to watch. Great racing. Thanks to everyone who gives up their time and money top make it happen. I'm definitely riding next year.

Well Trish, "Roxanne" and I have just got back from Paeroa. We all pretty naffed. Trish was Flag Marshalling with me at "Point 4" (half way along Princess St, up pass the Post Office).
Main problem was fu*ktards crossing the "Track" while it was closed for racing. Don't they get it? One Dead Fu*ktard would be all OSH needs to close this race permanently.
Poor old "Point 5" (first part of the Suzuki "S" Bend, Corner of Princess St and Wharf St.) started their day putting lime down on Hydraulic fluid. Some twit thought it might be cool to cut the media cherry picker's hose overnight. Hope they are caught and charged with attempted man slaughter. Would have contributed to Chris Seaton "talking to the hay bails" there during Formula Paeroa.
One of the Sidecars must have sprung a leak as all the "Ponits" had a trail of oil around the whole track to lime after one of their races.
"Point Nine" had the hardest day, but I will post about that later (got ta get some work done).
