    How to deristrict the DT175

Hey guys i cant find the restrictor on the Yamaha DT175 2004, Model, ive taken the expansion chamber and also the exhaust off, checked inside just at flange as motu told me too and also the other side of the chamber, no washer or anything. (I checked in the exhaust as well, nothing)
The air filters got no restrictions between it and the carb.
I ran the bike with the exhaust off and it had a small increase in power but not significant.
In the middle of the expansion chamber there are little dimples (pointed outwards tho) and when i hit it with my knuckles it doesn't seem to be hollow.

    Any ideas
    Cheers
    Kyle

When we were selling these critters, the "washer" was more a sleeve welded into the pipe where it attaches to the barrel.

Then from memory, there was another one in the inlet rubber, between the carb and the barrel again, half closing the intake.

Ill have a look between the carb and the barrel again, but there is definitely not one in the expansion chamber or the pipe unless its in the middle!

na, just replace the bits. your 175 should have like a 28mm carb. an IT has a 32 or 34 from memory, so you'd need the carb, maybe some reeds, the inlet manifold, and expansion chamber, and it'd go like MX'er... sound wicked too. I had a fuck'd as AG175 that'd outrrun 89 KX125's coz of that. see what you can find.
