    Greetings and salutations (badmon)

Good afternoon everyone. Thought I would jump on here and introduce myself to you all as a new member to this site
I'm a 30yr old architect living in Auckland...Been living in the UK prior to moving to NZ 7 years ago.
I haven't owned a bike since I had a nasty about 12 years ago but have occasionaly gone for a ride to let all the frustration out.
I am now ready to own another and rejoin this social circle.
Hope I can be welcomed into the community.

    Cheers
I am going to buy a gun and start a war, if you show me something worth fighting for.

Welcome aboard indeed. Hope you get a set of wheels soon. What sort of ride are you thinking of aquiring? Have you got your full etc?

Hope to see you out there soon buddy. What part of Auckland do you reside in, some good rides through Club 250 on KB. We're out east. Had a wee tootle today (and a bin - nothing major). It's all good if you and the bike are okay enough to tootle off and lick your wounds.

Lots of ex UK residents out here, I lived there for 6+ years myself, met hubby there (McJim) and moved back here to raise the weeins. Funny I got home sick for NZ when I was there, and I'm home sick for the UK at times now.

Rock on and happy riding matey

    Thanks for the messages
At this stage I am having an issue with the AA attaining my full license. I have had a full license (from Dubai) for 13 years now. The only copy I have of it is an expired international one (car as well)
When I first moved here I used that to convert to an NZ license but car only. Now I am kicking myself for not doing bike as well. So I might have to go down the 250cc track till I am big and strong enough to ride a decent powered bike.
My options are open at this stage really. RGV, RS and the Hyosung are the three top contenders at the moment.
I am going to buy a gun and start a war, if you show me something worth fighting for.

ha ha, sounds like you'll fit right in - welcome aboard
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
