    Newstalk ZB story: Police chase biker thru Waikato

    There has been a police chase through rural Waikato.

    A Harley Davidson failed to stop for police, resulting in a high-speed chase from Huntly to Morrinsville and assistance from the Eagle helicopter.

    Senior Sergeant Pete Simpson says the man eventually gave himself up and the bike was found to be stolen.

    I reckon they look pretty cool, and that's probably the idea anyway, appeal to the non traditional market.
    Only got to look at the demise of the British bike industry in the late sixties and early seventies to see why Harley would want to diversify it's customer base.

    Only thing about chasing a Harley is ,It`s not a pursuit it`s just time consuming , But it could be a dangerous pursuit if the Hog starts spilling oil everywhere.
