Makes me all the more pissed off that I missed it! Set off ok, had a blowout 20kms from home and couldn't get another tyre!
    Maybe next year.

Yup, I had a new one on order but being of Scottish descent thought I'd get one last ride on it. 'sides it hadn't arrived yet.
Was quite a struggle keeping it upright, particularly as it happened at 90+ km/h in a series of 75km/h bends. Where that biker was killed a couple of weeks ago. Imagine what was going through my mind as I drifted across to the other side of the road. Thank God there was nothing coming the other way.
All fixed and back on the road again.

nothing wrong with the price... its the flavours, sickly crap... I'd have used the bar if they sold either Stinie, Hinie, Grolsch, Stella...

for me its not about drinking 'alcohol' as you put it, but enjoying a nice drop... DB, Spaights, xport all that crap to any one with tast buds is undrinkable after the 1st can.
    cheers DD

There's just no pleasin some people, eh, D. You had better not start using the "S" word in derogatory tones down this way, you just might get roped by real Southern Men!

Too far at this point in time, maybe next year. In the middle of trying to sell a house.

Just had a bit of a count up and have about 12 badges for MH rallies, so I guess you could say i enjoy them!

I have to say, I still love the original site, but this is a VAST improvement on the last site...I just never got to like being in that hugely exposed paddock in the middle of nowhere, the nor'westers were horrendous.
I like the site now, nice being close to town just incase emergency supplies are required... band was excellent (as per the norm!)... food was good, esp. the pork sammies (tell them a HUGE thumbs up on that one)... flushing toilets (oh damn were they gooooood!)
But I was saddened to miss out on my mug
Being away up north I missed the prepay deadline and then read the fine print about mugs only to prepay oh well I guess I've got plenty anyway.

    I'll be back!
