Thanks guys for organising the show & Pete & WMCC for supplying bikes to ride.
Had long been interested in the 675 more as a comparo to the ZX636, hate to tell you this Pete but will not be trading the 636 on one. 675 had me a little disappointed, hard seat, good brakes, good mid range, flat top end power And too top it all off it wasnt GREEN.
Didnt ride the others as neither of the SV's interest me & already ridden a Buell.
The gear was excellent value for money.

Thank Christ for that! I've found that Kawasaki owners really freak when you tell them what their trade is actually worth!
But seriously Doug....all good. I'm glad you had a ride on the 675. Even if it's not you, it reinforces to you that you've got the right bike. Nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned.

Correct about the gear. I looked over it good and proper. I reckon it'd stand up to my level of abuse.....it looks good too, and the prices were bloody unreal.

Going back to the 'green thing'....you're a freak. So is your wife!

    Well - no - it's not green....

The seat? I found it fantastic after (cough cough mumble km today - not an ache) Vicki on the other hand thinks the designers at triumph are pricks and has issued a contract on them....

The brakes - um dunno - gave up using them after Vicki sat on my shoulders one too many times. Verdict - better than the Moto Guzzi

Power? - check - ample - more than enough......

More later but above all - EVERY time we stopped, someone appeared and told us it was the most beautiful bike they had seen. Next time I will take your business card Pete 'cos you should have a few test rides coming up. It is a stunning looking bike and thats bankable...

    Cheers

all i have to say is wtf happened to the garden at the after party, looked like a bulldozer had attacked the garden or maybe just some fat guys had rolled around in the bushes looking for some garden produce. and those deck chairs have weight limits too. also its off to AA for a few people 3ltrs of burboun was consumed (none by me) between 5 or so culprits. and some roller hockey player hellicoptered everywhere!

Actually, I'm worried about the dog .... nobody's mentioned the dog. It was slinking *away* from Colapop even before the bourbon was consumed!

Nah...Don't do it, Nige. Just think, you'll end up with a sprotbike that accelerates like a ballistic missile, goes blisteringly quick, handles like a dream, and looks ...well just like every other sportsbike...

Stay individual mate, the whole world and its dog rides a sportsbike and yours will get lost in the same fog. If you feel the need for another bike get something you can put your own stamp on, personalise, and bling to death!

I know what you are saying. I have already done the bling research and there is not that much that can be done to one of these bikes to make it individual.

    But I have some ideas.....

Col the fat bastard.... My backs still sore to thanks matey! I have a lovely greeny/brown bruise on my arse thanks to Col as well....

Was an awesome day, I had a blast. I took the SV650 and 1000 out for a blat. Didnt really wanna bring the 1000 back, what a sweet bike. Think I might have to get one.
Oh yeah the after party was fun. Dont know if poor ol Alex will be drinking again in a hurry. The ride back home to Wgtn was bitch yesterday and to top things off I got my first bloody speeding ticket going over Piecock. Think I might frame it.
