who invited all those dumb cages that were doing burnouts? although, you gotta admit... seeing that black Holden with pretty blue and red lights screaming down Maui Street in hot pursuit of some little tryhard in his ricer was worth it...

It's been a while since I've been out on a Friday night. Thought I was screwed coming down Te Rapa Straight, I'd had a few but when I got breatherlized all was good. Excellent I now know that 5 Steinlargers is not too much, or their machine is crap! Excellent to see some new faces on thier bikes. Shit there were a hell of a lot of cages and all it took was one police car to send them running with their tails between their legs! Hope to see you guys on the toy run tomorrow - if I get up!

    Careful Translation:
Hello everyone, I just bought a new bike, and it's already been for it's thousand km service in the first 6 days that I've owned it. I was trying to show off last night riding around in Hamilton, and took a off-camber right-hand corner a bit too quickly for the lean angle, and got more than the footpegs down...

You people really need to learn how to ride you know that? Shirley seriously don't pay much attention to learning what these guys are trying to do.

It was ok to start with guy but now it's really getting out of hand. Riding stupid in the parking lot was not really good but atleast you wouldn't get to hurt there, but now some of you are riding the same way in the streets and that could get you killed.

Fine enough on your own but don't try teaching others how to be a danger to themselfs.

Agreed, that's with the whole riding to 80% of your ability, so you have 20% in reserve if something out-of-the-ordinary happens... going 80kph through an off camber traffic light to the right is one of those riding above abilities, and it probably would include a lot of experienced riders in that too...

This is actually a long topic about riding to your ability, but leaving some of your ability 'in reserve' for the strange shit that happens on the road, like dogs, people, cars, difference in road surface etc.

BTW have you ever taken a ride to Wellington Waylander? I need someone to take me down and ride back up with me if I get this KR - I would pay gas cause you would be doing me a huge favour

I've been down three times and one othere where I flew to Christchurch and rode back. So not a problem just if you're wanting to go for more than 2 days or in the middle of the week you'll have to let me know a week or so ahead of time so I can get time off work.

At the moment, just sunday but saturdays are optional and it shouldn't be too hard to get a friday off. Or if you make it around easter weekend I have friday, saturday, sunday and monday off.
