i need lights that turn the corner with me. i start to go round, and then get edgy because i can't quite see where im turning

In Westgate is a Pharmacy (right down toward the NW motorway end) and last time I was in there they had a "Cheapies" cabinet... Ditry Dog, Polarised for $60.

i heard polorised aren't good because they make it so you can't see oil/wet patches on the road. and possibly bumps n minor road imperfections aswell

News to me (but that doesn't make it wrong..) Oil patches show up to me as a black, very shiney, almost velvet texture- as do wet tar patches.

The DD's I got have the golden lense too - not the dark grey and I find they seem to sharpen the focus... like the "blue blockers" they used to advertise> The miracle's in the colour/filter though - not the make model.

The polarised lense get rid of that super birght "spangle" you can get when the sun reflects off a car or other shiney object. So much easier on the eyes on a long ride on a bright day.

yeh, i haven't experienced it myself, but have been told by more then one persons. Possibly just makes things like that harder to see rather then not being able to see them at all.

...yeah i know that feeling! Tempted to install spot lights! or attach a torch to my fricking helmet!!!

$60? I thought it was a cheapies cabinet? Where's the nearest $2 shop?

Victoria Park Markets....there's an asian sunglasses shop and dirty dog sunnies are $25 and anything up from there, also they have cheap $10 pairs too...soo many to choose from.

It's where I always get my sunnies from.
