The Can went on the day after i got it. (actually had the can ready and waiting before the bike turned up! haha)

Difference between the 06 and 07 is very little.
But theres a massive difference between my old 05 and this.

So you're not risking it on Paekak Hill and all those mad wankers in their work vehicles are you. Just a nice lil nana ride along the SH1 coast road and the motorway on fine days only?

Good to hear you wait is over Martin. What have you got against the red & black ones? Red is faster you know.
So I take it you can feel the extra horses and the results from Honda letting Jenny Craig work out with the design team.

    It's confirmed

    Sparky Bills frightens old ladies!

Guess who's got a new bike and guess who was giving it the beans on Paekak Hill tonight. That poor old lady had finally got up to warp speed 30kmh after me trying to climb into her boot and then you headed straight for her door with more than a bit of throttle on!

Poor old bat, I hope she had a new incontinence pad on

Very nice mate, good choice of colour. Flatmate got the fuzzy end of the lollipop on that one I reckon!

I've read far too many reviews on the 07 CBR600RR to not want one. The reviewers, even the ones that don't really like Hondas that much, just rave about it endlessly, one was a changed man afterwards and went from Honda: no thanks to CBR600RR owner. The latest copy of Fast Bikes mag over here in the UK threw it against four other 600s and reckoned it was a tie for first between the ZX-6R and the CBR, even though the figures saw the CBR beat the others, Kwak included, by at least 0.3 of a second (a lot in super sport) in the 0 - 400 figures (tested by them, not factory claimed) as well as other areas like corner entry speed: "This used to be the domain of GSXRs alone, nothing else could enter a corner as fast. The CBR600RR has raised the bar again." So it handles really well, and the huge amount of extra poke in the midrange means it really pulls. I really want one. But I can't afford one. And too inexperienced.

I had a squiz at Sparky Bills work's collection of new CBR600 & CBR1000. They sure are sharp looking tools. The new paint scheme on the red/black thou got my juices going.
I took the new ZX6R for a blat today. I liked it but what new bike wouldn't be good fun to ride. It was an uncomfortable riding position and this ZX6 really needs a steering damper more than the 636 ever did. If I had to pick one between the CBR600 and ZX6R it would be the CBR without a doubt.

The 07 CBR600 apparantly has a pretty sexy electronic steering damper... the reviews of the bike I've read have labeled it sublime amongst other things. Another thing they say about it, with reference to the small stature of the bike: "Parking it up on the sea front for the opening shot in a force six [wind], there was a very real chance of it blowing away. Even pushing the bike around you can immediately feel the weight loss. Amazingly, once on board the bike isn't cramped at all. In fact, it's actually very comfortable. The 675 feels significantly less roomy..." "In it's new guise the CBR has also been transformed into a very capable and willing wheelie bike thanks to the motor's new found usability and quality fuelling..."

It'll do the standing 1/4 mile in less than 11 seconds too (10.91 @ 130.08mph tested). Not shabby for a stock 600!
