    Cheers

You now have a new name....Freebie! LOL

Was good to meet a few more people, even tho the background noise made it hard to hear most conversations! (and hearing anything over Col's voice...well, you're on to a loser right from the off... )

    Thumbs up

Cheers Jude & Col for organising it! The meal was nice when it eventually arrived.

Great to meet some new people and say "Gidday" to some ppl I already knew. I even managed to get 1 of Col's world renowned cuddles...my word!

    Now it's BACK TO STUDY!

    Hello all,

Not been on here much of late but it was good to meet some really fun people. (before the question is asked, I was the guy in white)

I will have to sell some organs(liver is probably not worth much anymore) to replace Judes bike (hopefully the next one will last a little longer) so we can come riding with people.

Ooh, I never thought of that! Great plan

I wonder how much a kidney from each of us would get...?!

(don't forget, I have offered to work street corners but you vetoed that one )

Yes , was a great lunch (if a little belated ).
Nice to see some people hadn't seen for a while and meet some new people, and to also to invent the new KB Fraternity, the Newlands Riders Group !!

    Thanks to Jude for organising.

    Cheers,
Nudie, the guy with his name on some duct-tape.

Yeah I enjoyed that and a good turnout of about 17 or 18 people when I last counted. Nice to meet those I hadn't met before. I had a slightly lazy day, started with a breakfast celebration in the office, then sorta some work, then over to lunch and I brought my briefcase over with me for a quick getaway. In the end with a crowd that size and Red Dog not being the fastest place to eat I got away just on the 2pm train and had the rest of the afternoon off. Food and company were great and even Col behaved to a degree so we didn't get thrown out or anything. Why do we never have our cameras at these things?
    Cheers

    Merv

OK just so the rest of the world knows who the team was I counted the following as attendees:

merv - yeah I would count myself eh! I guess I was flattered Steam said he thought I sounded like a teenager online - can't have read all my old biker stories.
    judecatmad
    dhtnz
    Colapop
    Scamp
    nudemetalz
ajturbo - who last said he wasn't coming but there he was!
Nasty - she ate more than Grub's grub in the end.
    Grub
Freebird (I'll tell you later about the cost of your drink)
    Bloody mad Woman (BMW)
    Hitcher
    Sallo
    Celtic Sea lily
    Steam
    wayne708
F5 Dave - who's been quiet on this thread but he was there
    Tollov - not a KBer
    Cheers

My apologies for not making it. Had to avert a crisis to get friends to the airport.
Colapop.. I gather Scamp quite enjoyed her Colahug and asked for another one. Scamp by name, Scamp by nature.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Yes indeed! Ooo we likes Scamp yes we do... We might have to have Scamp sit nearer to me next time!

And yes it was good to catch up with you all. Some of you got caught up in my arms but don't worry I work on a catch and release programme (to please Hitcher)

I am happy I went because
    1) I ate a whole large pizza myself.
    2) I met some nice people.
    3) I feel braver now so I will come to more KB group things.
    4) I am the prettiest. Apart from Sallo. She's waaaay prettier than anyone else.
    5) I learned about bucket racing. Hmm... may be interested...
So it was well worth it. Hooray for KB, meeting people with nothing in common but bikes and the internet, and being able to chat for an hour and a half and they turn out to be very interesting.
    Thanks KBers!
