    Nice day's outing today.

Thanks Steve and Mary for the hospitality.

No complaints from the pillon seat. Guess the stories about the Triple being poor for pilloning are a bit off the mark.
She nearly fell off the back on the way home on HW50 when the ponies were unleashed but hey.......I was fine..

    What a great day.

Real woman have no problems with small pillon seats.

And this is for letting the ponies out to play

How about this guys/gals? For Saturday.

Been looking on my map and have marked out a route in green.
Basically goes from Napier then off HW50 thru Valley Rd etc to Argylle, thru Otane to our fav pitstop Patangata pub, then back the other way Kahuranaki Rd, the opposite way we normally go, to Napier/Hav etc.
Looks a good ride, but on the map only about 24 inches

Maybe meet a bit earlier to allow for a drink at the Patangata etc, what do you all think?

Valley Road onto Raukawa Road to Argyle is very narrow and heaps of tight corners, its a good ride on this road but you got to be carefull, you could go a short way on Raukawa Road then turn down Te Onapue Road, to the main drag to Otane, then to your favourite spot. But it is a good ride on a good day.

Looks great - but too twisty for me, would take me all day to get halfway there, and then I'd need to lie down and have a nap

Never been up Valley rd or Argylle way so was just throwing suggestions at it.
Raukawa is good, especially after going thru Whakapirau then.
Maybe Raukawa then Te Onepu, then Otane.

Sorry I can't make it this week but the ride you have mapped out is a good ride. We have done it before and it is 10/10.

Wise to do the Kahuranaki Rd because there will be a lota bikes out and midle road will be a race track for sure.
