Awasome. It's more fun spending on farkels than repairs.

I got the scoop on a good road legal WR450f....So....was wondering. As there is only about a litre in there, I guess the more the better right?

Finaly got around to fitting the IMS 3Gal tank yesterday.

Ordered a Black one, ended up with Neutral . Anyway looks ok I think.

Where I have circled I've had to color in the tank blue with a marker because the farings dont quite cover it, and you end up with ugly/weird white bits shoing through; knew about this design flaw, thats why I really wanted the black tank. The coloring in did the trick and its not noticeable.

Now of to do some more remote exploring with the new range.

What have you done with you're WRR lately?

Maybe the thread name should be changed to 'The WRR thread'?

You'll be liking that extra range with the new tank aye

I've been running 13/47 on mine for a few weeks now, do like. Can't imagine any reason I'd go back to the stock gearing.
It's a bit busier at 100kph in 6th but not that bad and second gear is a lot more betterer now in tighter stuff when trail riding

Also lowered the rear suspension via the stock adjustment and dropped the triple clamps a tad. before I was on tip toes now I'm on the balls of my feet so all good.

How does everyone find the stock seat? I did 370 odd k's on Tuesday and was feeling it towards the end, so been thinking about getting a seat concepts seat or maybe
    I just need to HTFU

Changing the gearing is on of the best mods I reckon. I went to 13 45 just to keep the same size chain, even that woke her up.

Extremely happy to have more range now

Yea anything over 300ks and I'm starting to stand whenever there is a chance. Might try some cycle shorts under my pants.... Be cheaper than a seat... Spent too much on the bike already lucky the other half has no idea

What tyres are you running Dave?

I'm running Vee Rubber knobs at the moment which are ok but I've found they don't last that long when you add commuting into the mix.

Got a set of Mitas E 09's that are going on next though.

End up getting a new seat Dave? Ive been trying out bike pants... Makes it slightly more bearable..

Changed the gearing to 12/45 for a trail ride tomorrow, would be slightly lower than ur 13/47... Seems to go like a raped ape in the dirt now, power wheelies in 2nd and still gets over 100kph nicly.

Got the Piralli Mt21 on the front Mich AC 10 rear feels a good setup.
