ok i am pickin up the map again....Mr google has changed.I cant load the pics into the map like i used too,well i havent found a way yet.If you have a google maps sign in i think any one can go into it and place a marker. Just have a wee look at what we have done up till now
I am just about finished Leg 5N(ie leg 5 heading North.Mr Shrek is about to pick it up and begin leg 6S.I have to place the last leg 5 pin before the cape

Each Leg can now be shown on a different layer of the map,and you can turn each layer on and off as you wish.Well i can but i know that google maps has changed a bit .I resisted going to the "NEW" google maps but i now have made the change.Wether that affects how others see the map i dont know.
I think i have missed out the first tag on leg 6? Did Vgygrwr grab the last tag of leg 5 go to the cape than back south a bit where shrek picked it up?Where is that spot Shrek?

sorry that means nothing to me i will put a marker on the map you can see if you can move it.

Either I was pissed, or its a banking corner bridge, or just held my phone on an angle while straddling the bike trying to get the phone to take the pic with my gloves on, hadn't been riding long enough to warm the gloves to get it to work the phone :P

Went to the Farm last weekend, when it rained:crazy:, the number of campervans and rental cars on Waikare Rd and Old Russell Rd - the gravel section - was surreal. Nearly had a couple of head ons going through the cuttings.

The tourists all looked terrified! Must have been the banjo music we had playing.

take time to go to info board and check out the info there quite interesting as you say, on a good day.
