IN other news today, I got my new Michelin Power Pures on the bike so have a summer tyre just need some summer weather to trial them :laugh:

Saving the Pilot Road 3's for winter as there a bit overkill now - well once sunny weather hits will be overkill.

Are they similar to Michelin Pilot Powers? I'm looking at investing in some summer (cough! trackday) rubber too, got a spare set of wheels here now but no tires on them just yet... Plus the fact that I just cant seem to wear my Michelin Pilot Activ's out!!! I've done over 20'000km on them and they still have HEAPS of tread left! (Not that I'm complaining of course! They are a really good tire!)

Only real differences I can see is the Price, Tread Pattern (More road orientated) and PP are only single compound PP 2CT are the dual compound tyres.

Go to cycletreads website and onto Michelin Tyres they have the 2011 PDF brochure which gives a rough break down on the tyre differences. I couldn't tell much other than on the graph the PP Pures were like Summer/Track version of my PR3's I have been running and I trust the Michelin brand.

This is getting closer,cool.Unsure if I'll be biking,but will be here,my brother bought a mitsi 4x4 van and told me to pick it up and use.So as haven't been on bike since about 7th Dec untill last Saturday(rode out of shed and around section to clean bike lol)unsure if I am strong enough to ride 200km(will do short ride this weekend maybe up Paraparas)and if body feels ok will give it thought,also go on ride up till Taupo weekend to see how the body feels,if not good will drive,just to annoy the crap out of youse hehe.:laugh:

So has anyone got spare room,realise it is my fault for being unsure of plans and if no spare room no issues guys,otherwise will suss out roomwhen there,looks like I will be there late morning so will be there as welcoming committee,also must remember my bottle of McKenna Bourbon(had it 4 yrs)and seems a good weekend to knock the bastard off.

Well for anyone interested, Superbike School on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th of February, Track day 8th February are what looks like last for a while at least for Hampton Downs unless the situation changes dramatically.

Nice, yeah the run to Rags is always an enjoyable ride. I go for a quick blat out there on occasion. Not as many km's for me though. And the friendly locals will always give you a wave if you pass the pub! You shoulda mentioned you were coming down, coulda met up somewhere!

Am having a drink as I type,although the drink is called "fortisip"a high calory(sp)drink,I can have upto 6 per day which gives 1800cals/day.At least it tastes nice,but also having other foods,yogurts etc,all the fattening crap type puddings.:laugh:

Put the Fortisip in the fridge, it goes down a bit easier. Does it mix with bourbon do you think?

What about breakfast on the Sunday morning?
$300 buys alot of food (if you shop right)...get in some Bacon/Bread...?

Weather was glorious :sunny:

I managed to do my own version of swimming (had a spare moon boot and went wading in the estuary at high tide :laugh: almost everyday, nothing, but nothing beats that feeling. I reckon the salt water has also healed my ankle <_< though I wont get it x-rayed for another 10 days.

So as far as my transport options go...
