Next week aye....
There is lots of construction shit at the carpark bit where we meet now.
Probably not really an issue tho and keeping the same place is quite important coz I know not everyone reads this.
Im not actually going anywhere with this...
Last night was interesting. Helped ( or watched others help ) a monster scooter with a flat battery - cant push start a scooter!
Aparently it does at least the ton (160kph)

Where is that BTW I'm gonna guess Moonshine hill road but I could be wrong.
Too much lean angle aye? Gets you everytime!
Ordered a new indicator yet?
Weaver
6th December 2007, 20:08
It was heading out to Mackra from the Johnsonville end at about 1045 this morning.
To fast into the corner and then to much lean....
In the first pic you can see the line in the ground where the slid started, and it ended up in the grass where it can be seen in that pic.
It broke the indicator and gear lever, bent the clutch lever and put some major scratchs down the side.
Went to TSS this afternoon, bought new parts, fitted them and was riding again by 5 pm.
And a big thanks to Rocket for taking it back to my place on his trailer

By going faster I mean as in hanging off the side of the bike etc. Not fanging it along the motorway passing cars at every opportunity. Although I did get a speeding ticket tonight. 115ks, luckily the cop let me off for exceeding my 70k limit (L plate)

So, we're gonna need a new meeting point tomorrow night, there is the slight issue that only Simon would find the old one possible to get to.
I propose the recycling car park at the bottom of Kelson hill instead, or the Duck pond (read elephant pond) as our loitering area.
Deano
12th December 2007, 16:30
You not coming for a ride anymore ? :oi-grr:You all about the stunts ? :msn-wink:

Bite me, I was fairly subdued and tactfull in my post. Would have even mentioned that you infact got over the hill quicker than me and alluded to the fact it was the trip over, and that I was two up.

Guys, if you want a chuckle, go have a look at the ATNR thread. They're going on about dodgy riding and going too hard when they open up occasionally.

Funny you should mention video, skelstar has a camera on his bike most of the time now, and Andries and I will be getting some other footage in the near future.

Now rev, you cannot condemn, only guide in the ways of the lord. You should have said..."Should you choose to carry on along that path, it will surely lead you to eternal damnation my son."
