Sunday started off far too early. The wife went to church and I had to drive her. After that I couldn't sleep again so I got into some breakfast and sat down with to watch the Bruce Willis flick called Surrogates. Movie was ok, Rosamund Pike was better than ok. She really is a honey. A little quirky looking but that's part of her charm. Anyway, I was too busy setting up the cheap laptop I picked up to be too interested in the movie. So Thursday night I cruised around to Brent's place so that we could continue putting Trini back together.

I shot home from work, having bailed from the buildings Christmas bbq before I got snotted (it was hot and the beer was free and there's some cute chicks that work in this building). I have just got my L plates so thought I would put a quick hello out to all the people around. Although started a little late, I have enjoy my early mid life crisis (I’m in my early 30ish).

Just sat my BHS test up in Albany on Sunday. Was a pretty full on couple of hours, especially where the only riding experience I had was a quad and a long time ago. But after getting use to the clutch and not turning the handle bars so much (dang quads). I was away. Now sure ...

I had my eyes lasered yesterday (3/12/2009) to correct my short sighted vision (myopia). I had an astigmatism and both my eyes were around -4.

I decided to get it done mostly because of my motorcycling. I can't wear contact lenses on a track, because the forces keep pulling them off the centre of my eyeballs, leaving me blinded for 30 to 45 second or so. Have you tried approaching a corner, braking hard, and then almost loosing all vision? You have to do the rest of the corner ...

I've got my full license booked for 9am Monday at the AA Westgate in AUckland, my bike has just crapped itself and I'm having a real mission finding a replacement for Monday morning?
Can someone help me out?
I'd like to pick it up Sunday arvo/night and return it straight from my test.

ACC is but a thorn in the side of progress. Of itself, philosophically it is a nappy, in the real world it is a crutch. There are better ways of providing compensation, it is up to the people of the day, not yesterday, to create a system.
How that is done is a task entrusted to many governments of the day over many years.
