  1. Need some more spare time please... where can I buy this?

How the hell are you meant to get gud at riding when you work full time & have kids who do heaps of sports!! Had the bike a few months now but my confidence is growing ever so slowly due to time restraints! Only free time is late at night but wait that's no good as i have my learners! If someone knows where to buy an xtra day from I'll gladly pay any price!

  3. Epic Adventure Jan 2010: Part Three

Pies, clear skies and being in total control of two wheels for a series of the most amazing uphill switchbacks I have ever encountered. Who says heaven isn’t on earth? Day three of his adventure beats a theme park any day!

Being the responsible adults that we are, we all recognized the importance of enjoying a hearty breakfast before heading off homewards. (We will conveniently ignore the part where Andrew does not function until coffee arouses him from his catatonic state). Pies ...

  4. Dyers Pass a little Hairy

For you ChCh riders, Dyers Pass has been resurfaced recently and has loose grit and gravel making cornering somewhat treacherous. Rode up it tonight and found the first 1/3 of Dyers Pass had been resurfaced. I expect the remaider may be completed in the next few days. If you are riding down Dyers Pass you may "discover" the new surface suddenly, take care.

    Cheers.
  5. New to all this....

Well i have recently started riding. My hubby started a couple of years ago and I decided it looked fun and would have a go. So bought a new GN125, decided to start small as my last experience on a motobike left me on crutches for many weeks! Not enjoying the 70km/hr rule, have managed to somehow misplace my 'L' plate, no dramas yet, had a couple of near misses but my GN seems to be very forgiving and looks after me well... although I'm definelty keen to now get something bigger!

  8. Well I gone and done it now ...

Tonight, I have with some small fanfare and trepidation, have put my reputation and money where my mouth is ... I went and announced to the whole of the KB world that Jeaves and I have opened our own online bike parts store. With quality bike parts sourced from the land of the rising sun.

It was two years ago that over the re-wiring of my lil'ol'hornet's lights (for what seemed like the umpteenth time) that Jeaves and I were doing the classic Kiwi moan. "Why can't we get the cool ...
