Andrew is a top bloke and a great ambasador for our sport i think it's important to let the racing community know that he gave away new tyres 1 full set and 1 rear to young competitors racing in the superbike class to help them out, on their budget this is a great help. Hayden and the honda team have also been very generous All the best for the next 2 rounds

Bin doin a bit more collecting, polishing & assembling
The 'bars are a cruiser pushbike beach bend that Ive wrapped leather straps around, added brass caps, the choke ,throttle & a Solex reverse style brake lever
As you can see the headlite came up real good after a 2 hour session on the polisher,Ill be adapting a modern lens assy to it later on
The Albion 3 speed 'box/clutch is already hand change that'll save a bit of mucking around

  5. 7 weeks on...

Had appointment with the specialist yesterday and he's very happy with the progress. I have more movement in my arm than it took to get 9 months after the accident. Hasn't affected my riding at all, in fact I took the bike in for my appointment.
The scar is looking pretty neat and tidy too. Had a wee lumpy thingy at one end of it where the stitches were removed but that's gone away now (kinda looked like a gross pimple!) and the bio-oil has been doing wonders as well.

  6. Morriesons Bar & Cafe Hawera Wedges

Clive & I headed out of town for a wee mid week tootle with no plans on where to go and we finally ended up in Koupokanui. Go on google it! But before we got there we needed to stop and get some liquid refreshments and some fuel for the body. We had a great "long way" ride to our final destination via Alfredon, KImbolton, Mangaweka, Hunterville, Fordell so we needed something to eat.

    Hallelujah Hawera!!!
Finally some wedges that are the way that I feel wedges should be! For ...

  7. Bikes I have been on the back of....

I've realised that after having my licence for 4 months now that I still enjoy jumping on the back and riding pillion. Now if you had read the article in Your Weekend Magazine, I have been blessed ?? with the nickname "bike whore" and having thought about it I realised that I have been on the back of a few bikes, so here is the list with the amount of times I have been on the back in brackets, in no particular order:

    Kawasaki EL250, my own bike
    Test rode a Yamaha SRV250
