I've come to realise that motorbikes are so much easier to maintain than cars! Well, in saying that, Dave might disagree with me on that! See the Chch Main thread for info on that! So I've been going along to these Wed nights and I have to say the amount of information that I'm learning is great and thats just about the people!! Nah, I'm learning so much about the bikes, the gear and the maintenance. It's fantastic that we can go there and do this (not to mention the trip to ...
How it came about I can’t be sure, but I think either my Dad or Aunt kept my school principal informed of the struggles occurring at home with Mum in and out of hospital. I was around eight years old when the principal handed me a box of matches and told me I was in charge of the school incinerator. Each lunch time a small group of us would round up all the garbage bins and bring them to the incinerator, I would run to the principals office and he would give me the box of matches, I would light ...
Well I am glad that week is over. At least all the new equipment we brought for the Tribology lab is working, now to start getting results. Raced Ikasu last Sunday and am totally stoked with her performance. With Skunk not there I was able to get two firsts, which gave me some very much needed points. My riding style sucks and is what is letting me down. Ikasu is starting to slip out of fourth, which is a real concern. I have decided to leave her at the moment as she running otherwise fantastically. Wanisami is inching closer to being finish and hope to test ride her this weekend.
im gona own the mega few on the 22nd if its the last thing i do!
Thinking of buying a 2009 DR650. Any advice on accessory (bigger) tank for adventure rides

I went for a ride yesterday with serveral friends starting on the North Shore of Auckland, out to Kaukapa and then SH16 up to SH1 and back again. We stopped off at Warkworth for a coffee, and arrived just in time to see a restored ship being given its maiden voyage. It looked like the whole township had turned out. Then we stopped off at the Puhoi pub for a drink. About 10 minutes later a guy started playing the bag pipes in what looked like a full formal garb. I'm ...
