We slowly wake up as the sun starts to shine on us and our motorcycles. The hotel staff was nice enough to let us crash outside of their hotel for free! We order some breakfast and coffee and then slowly pack up our belongings to head back out to the open road. ...
28 April 2009 Ok, Freiburg is awesome. Everything: the people, the city, the Bretzels. And I can't believe that I am up to week four already! You can really tell that this is a student town from the crazy number of parties. Every weekend, but not just on weekends, as every night is ‘Student Night’ somewhere in town. On Wednesday I went along with my flatmate to the StuSie bar, which is the equivalent of Shadows. Wednesday is ‘Shots Night’, with 20 shots for 10 Euro, ...
Hi! I'm not certain I am posting this in the right place or even if anyone will be able to read it but here goes Could anyone advise me on the process of bringing bikes over from the U.K? We are applying for work to residency this year. Is there any compliance test as with cars and what are the legal requirements once they've arrived? The bikes will be arriving with our shipment of household goods so who do I notify when they arrive? Thanks
Hiya. I have just started trying to do my own work on my bike. OMG what a friggin nightmare. Thought I would record my efforts on here a] as a record for myself, b] so other noobs can get some ideas and not repeat my mistakes or c] so you can have a good laugh at my efforts. A fellow KBer very kindly spent a whole day working on my bike and giving me some useful tips. He fitted my new indicators which I have had in the drawer for 6 months. Panel beated my drive belt guard. [ I bent this ...
Well the VMCC Winter Series is about to start and this will be my first full series bar crashing and burning somewhere along the way which is.....always a possibility. On the subject of crashing on the track I have a relatively small catalogue of crashing to date, consisting of an over run and dumping into the gravel pit at Dunlop corner Manfield on my very first track day (this was because what was on the Speedo seemed a hell of a lot more interesting right up to the point where I ran off ...

The weather was shithouse, but my little Rangi is a super bucket!! He went all day, never missed a beat thanks to Sketchy and Skunk's hard work and fine tuning on him. Rangi's a dream to ride, wheelies off the line, and then again in second hehe Got great starts in both races, lead for a time in the first race until my bucket sister Number One passed me and then someone else snuck past me a while after that and then we just circulated making sure the others didn't catch us, so finished ...
Rangi has been turned into Super Rangi!! So, Rangi went to the SkunkWorks bucket factory for some diagnostics to figure out his fueling issues and rolled out two weeks later a different bike!!! Sketchy_Racer offered to do some tuning on him to make him run a bit nicer for nanna here and so we could put my larger carb on and get him running. What he's done I don't entirely understand, (maybe he might like to tell us, but maybe it's his secret) all I know is that he is one ...
