I just wanted to touch on the club racing scene from my limited perspective in the very short time ive been involved. Just let me start by saying im an older rider by many racers point of view and considered still a young one by a few others, at 40 years of age married with three kids ill let you form your own conclusion. I really hate driving down the road only to have some beautiful red Porsce Carrera pull up next to me with a geriatric Abe Simpson type charactor sitting ...
It's over. My eight year streak has come to an end. I thought I could hold out until I was 25 but alas, the pressure from my superiors has grown such I can no longer handle the strain. And I have crumbled. Faltered. Given in to the external forces that have been crushing me from all sides. Today, I sat my restricted car license exam, I passed with flying colors. Even doing the test in a truck with suspension hard enough to make the little Asian assessor remark "ahh ...
Ok, so I have decided to do a blog, never done one before, find it somewhat intimidating but hey, let's all take a journey and see how it goes. So what made me decide to do this? WellI have been given a huge chance to make a lifechanging decision. (Insert dramatic chords here). Given the seriousness of this I thought this could be a convenient way of keeping track of my thoughts and experiences. Ok, so the decision - I have the chance to go for Gastric Bypass surgery ...
I woke up to the odd sound of a bell in the distance. I laid there a little bit trying to figure out what that sound could be, since we were in the middle of nowhere. Finally curiosity got the best of me and I got dressed and stepped out of the tent. It was a beautiful day and I was look forward to more riding. I took a quick look around. I saw something in the direction of the bell sound, but it was so far away I couldn't be sure what it was. ...
Got a tummy bug in the weekend which rules out riding for the duration. Guts still feels like its in knots so still hangin around waiting for it to untangle itself so thought I'd check out pics on the web to post up on my album for simple pleasure of doing so. Cat is here reminding me how important my mouse is to use and therefore her lying on it makes computer use quite restricted. Am doing some good reading though through the thread regarding buying bikes etc. so ...
Well Ikasu has been out now twice with mixed results. First day was the 15-3 and what a blast. While still needing decent exhaust she ran well. It took most of the day to get used to her, but by the end of the day I was able to take her to her limit and she just smiled and seem to love (performed better) it. The next day was the 22-3 and after the warm up she packed a big sad and was not going to go around the track at all with missing and farting and generally made me aware she ...
Its domination pushed into living hell Domination a now blacked heart Is reaching out divinity Body suspended by chains over razors And nails its a penalty Each razor a vice and each nail Marks the demise of you life. Grim construction grows Has life played a trick Sealed you in brick by brick Till your end forcing you to bend The above lines are from Pantera's classic song domination, they are not at all applicable ...
Well, Rangi is all together, and looking pretty good!! Everything seems to be going good, new engine is a hummer, the gear box is sweet, frame and everything else seems to be working good.....(Thanks to Sully60, Skunk, Sketchy and Kendog!) Just having some fueling/carb issues, seems to keep "bogging" (not sure if that's the right term, but that's what it feels like he's doing when he does it) and feels like it's starved of gas. Tried some things, but he doesn't seem to want to go for more ...
