    Another down - Auckland

    Shit.


    NZ Police CommCens Alert 10:40 12-11-2005 Auckland City

    Location of incident: Grey Lynn

    Incident Type: Fatal Crash

    Fatal Crash

    Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision between a car and a motorbike.

    The location is at the intersection of Great North Rd and Williamson Ave Grey Lynn.

    The rider of the motorcycle has died at the scene (gender unknown)

    Both Williamson Ave and Tuarangi Rd where they intesect with Great North Rd are closed.

    Police advise motorists to avoid this area.

    The intersection will be closed whilst the Police Serious Crash Team investigate the cause of the crash.




    No further details are available at this time. More to follow as it comes to hand

    We came through not long after it happened.

    Only thing we saw though was a GN250 and a tarp over what appeared to be a body.

    Makes you feel sick seeing that.
