    OK, I have FINALLY got the blurdy restore sorted. (Don't ask).

    And the PTB say I can go.

    So Petal an I will be taking the Norfin Road. Slowly. Very slowly.

    Silverdale autobahn ? 8am (wodda ungodly hour!).

    Used to take an hour an a bit from Norfcote, I imagine it's a lot longer now.

    Watch for Plod on the Waipu straights .

    I haven't been into Whangarei in 20 odd years, normally bypass it.

    How d'y' get there from the Kamo Bypass turnoff?

    Perhaps someone with a contact for a big venue we can use,,,,,FREE.

    Monday and Tuesday nights work best for me, although could possibly sort something out if needbe.

    SH1 turns into Western Hill Drive Ixion...not hard to "find" as you can't miss it,cause you're on it when you're riding through Whangarei.
    I guess these days they would call it the bypass.
    Easiest thing to do is meet me at the Information Centre (coming into Whangarei) or at Burger King(5mins from venue) which you can't miss either

    ok, so plan is to hook up with Ixion and ?, at Silverdale autobarn, ready for 8 am departure.

    From what they say, should get up there at about 10, meet up with TL and ? at BK then.

    Is that the plan?

    Allow 2.5 hours incase of Taxation Collectors(especially Waipu straights!) ,and meeting at BK (which is next to Caltex) suits me fine guys.
    Keep a look out for a black ZX10R on your travels as I may ride part way down to meet up with y'all.
