    New handlebars?

Well as it happens I was out riding my bike around this afternoon. My friend hops on, revs her up and drops the clutch..... Next thing I know I have bent bars.
I have Acerbis bars on at the moment but my question is what should I choose next? Should I go for Acerbis, Tag or Pro taper. Are there any real flaws in any of the brands or are they all rather good?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

IMO, your available options will depend on what you're trying to achieve by deviating from the stock bars.

I have some Pro-Taper SE ( Reed bend ), nice bars, though I did manage to bend them, from all accounts it's pretty rare, certainly I fell off a fair few times before I managed it ( definitely going faster than a simple dump clutch flip fall off ).

I've got some new Renthal Twin-Walls I got in the states ( not on yet ), the guy there reckoned they reduce forearm pump, certainly they look pretty damn strong, though they required mounting brackets & for me new barkbusters ( I could get new mounts, but damn near the price of a new set of Zeta's, which given my end plugs need replacing anyway makes more sense ).

From all I can tell, the Renthal/Pro Taper are pretty much a wash & the bigger issue is what bend you want for your riding style ( standing/sitting ) & whether you want to go thick-bar, there's alot of variables & I think what everyone else is saying is you need to throw some more info up on what sort of riding you do, how often you crash & what speeds & what the main things are you want from 3'rd party bars ( strength/bend/looks ).

    Renthal or Pro-taper

Just choose your bend and type (oversize or standard)

Renthal/ Pro Taper and Tag are all pretty simialr, i doubt weather the twin walls will reduce your arm pump any more than others,
i persoanlly run tag's as i like the bend (1008 Sx Bend) and have had a good run out of them,
