Well that all depends on the cc size bike one is riding.

Riff Raff did it in 9 hours on her Honda Rebel (cruiser) a while back when she was taking it down there to sell.

But on a big sport bike with a quick rider....... I am sure that there times would be very quick indeed.... not sure, if they would post their times up thou....

Are you also talking about doing it all on SH1 as well..... or doing it the scenic route?

Again it depends on what bike it is done on.... and how quick the rider is.

    10 hours when I went Wgtn-Masterton-Alfredton-Vinegar Hill-Ohakune-Nat Park-Mangakino-Waipapa Dam-Raglan-22-Western Springs.

Im sure a SH1 route would be much quicker.

True, but then if I had to ride all the way on SH1 I wouldn't feel much like a winner.

Well, it depends on from where in city to city, night or day, and wether peak traffic times as you arrive or leave, but, last run (with 4 fuel stops on a cruiser) was 7hrs 15min Johnsonville to Glenfield, but that was travelling a wee might over the signage Usually it takes us around 8:15min if we take it easy with food and rest stops.
