And a BIG Award to Patrick and Michelle, they obviously saved Butch"s life that day. This could have easily been any one of us and to know that there are people like them out there with such skills as foresight and observation is a comfort.
    Well Done to you both.

    Cheers

Sorry - I'm confused? (no really - it seems to happen often these days) What caused the accident again and did the blood tests come back under or over the limit?

There was talk of diabetes (my interest) but I'm guessing thats not the case??

Ok guys - this thread has been removed form the forums once before... we then decided that we would place it back here as there was a value in the subject.

No abuse please, else this thread will be closed. By abuse I mean in the thread, via rep and definately via pm... I have seen some of the pm's and rep going back and forth as a result of this thread, and its not on.

State your opinion without abuse, or keep it off KB. I undertsand that emotions are hightened as this is a highly intense and personal subject, but I dont want another complaint about this thread. Consider yourselves tripple warned, infractions come next.

FESTUS... have learned that there was no alcohol in your brothers blood, so the heading originally for this thread was wrong and you have my deepest apologies for this.

Hope your brother is progressing well??

Can't explain the alcohol smells I was getting off him though (geez I know alcohol smells...) and even you said he had one beer after work... even that didn't register.

For those who got red repped for slagging off, sorry to you too as it was my post that got it all going...

However, was pleased to stop and help no matter what... It was good to see that other people stopped and helped, gives me faith in the good nature of most... it could be any one of us next time....

    Nah, wrong interpretation dude.

Respect to patrick for having a) the concern to follow this up, and b) the balls to apologise long since the incident was forgotten by most KB'ers.

I hope your bro is well festus.

    Cheers Patrick..........

Although Butch does not remember a thing about the accident, and has also lost huge amounts of memory pre-accident, he had had a couple of pints and a feed prior to the accident I've been told, never disputed that, as said, I have a couple of beers myself, and the missus always knows cause of the 'beer breath', if you know what I mean.......

Anyway, Butch is progressing well, is now mobile around Wanganui on a new bike (mountain bike that is), so as you can guess, he has come a long way since the accident last oct-nov.
He still has short term memory issues, gets tired easily etc, and his shoulder is still very sore, but physically he's pretty good, just the top 2 inches is gonna take some time to come right...........Festus
