At 1 o'clock this morning two police officers (1 male, 1 female) came to my daughter's flat and arrested her pissed (now ex) boyfriend who had kicked in her car windscreen, smashed her bedroom window, broken two phones so the police could not be rung and left her with bruises on her head and upper body.

I couldn't give a toss about those police officers' sexuality, their race or even what rugby team they support. I'm just so glad that they got there and did what they did in a professional manner and stopped further harm to my daughter.

I'm not sure what's worse: being outted as a woman or having a doppelganger who posts pictures of himself on the web wearing a Tron suit.

Now, your mission if you have any balls...... Is to ring Radio Pacific talkback in the morning, and tell John Banks and the members of the political listening nation that Labour is not a Socialist Government.

Honestly, I couldn't dream of hearing anything funnier!
It's precisely because of Banks, Perigo, etc that most New Zealanders believe that Labour 'is' a socialist Government. They have a political agenda in promoting this as they both come from the opposite politcal spectrum. Banks is an ACT supporter as is Perigro in as much as their (ACT'S) political views match the Liberterianz's of which Perigro is their most prominent 'admirer.'

When you have to resort to other indaviduals to support your views it only indicates that you are unable to develope views on your own and the inability to give reasons for them.

Like I said - I'm really quite dumb!

I don't know why I don't support Labours immigration policies, why I don't support their ability to change laws to suit their personal needs. Why would I want them to repay election overspending when I can pay for it? It don't matter that the law has only just changed to now state that tax payer money be used for election funding/over funding. Naturally, It's gonna take alot of airbrushing for labour's advertising billboards!
Why would I want them to pay for herceptin treatment for NZ breast cancer victims (Is Sarah at risk?) when the money can be used to fund Helen to stand on the back of our Boat with her 25 strong taxpayer funded maori haka support party. Why would I want to see her stop the brain drain issue when that gives me a chance to lift myself from the bottom? I mean, Rape and murder are thriving, Why would I want that to be interviened with?
What's wrong with high speed motorcades - It's a footy nation.
High level corruption in the Police department. High level corruption in the corrections system - makes for good reading! So I'm told!
Do I care that prisoners are becoming well off by making an occassional compensation claim here or there.
Prostitution legalisation/promotion - That'll save a fair few parents needing to fork out pocket money.
Who cares if were declining on the OECD list of countries, tending toward the third world countries. Who cares if our leader falsifies artwork or documents.
So what if Helen is great friends with the communist president of Cuba, Fidel Castro, and is now opening an embassy in NZ. Taxpayers can pay for it.
Who cares that we are the only country in the world that would accept international terrorists like Zaoui. Why would I care that the government lies about the level of student debt, or breaks promises about tax relief, or even lies about the multibillion dollar debt raised by Labours Kiyoto protocol signing. Why not raise your kids the way labour want you to? Do you deserve a choice or something?

I don't care, I could go on and on. But I don't care. Coz I decided that I ain't paying the government no more - I'm taking instead! Bwahahaha!

With my previous listed credentials - You can just join them!

You're right Skyrider, I have no views. I'm too dumb to evaluate any of my own views. Can I borrow yours?

Mr Skyryder is quite correct. This government is in no way socialist. They would not know what socialism was if it bit them on the toe .

*I* am a socialist. Mr Dafe, I am your worst fear. But I am not PC. Nor are any socialists. We do however palce a high value on fairness and social justice.

Likewise. It's easier to bowl on up, do a reasonable paced jog and shit, shower and shave before you even knew you left. Now, it's just gonna take you ages to do something easy!

12KM walk? You've been checking up on my stories! Where'd you hear that?

So if less recruits get in because they do not pass all aspects of training then I guess there would be less Police so we get back to the same old bash that the Police do not attend to crimes because of lack of resources.

The real test of how good a Police officer is surely comes when they start doing the job, not how fit they are.

The Police need more skills than doing a run test or passing a physical test..........maybe we need more 'Thinkers' than 'Gorilla's' in the Police force....I mean you could have some geezer who passes the test with flying colours, you know, 1,000 push ups, 10k's in 10 minutes but he is a crap cop, exactly the kind you will complain about whereas the Police bashers are always complaining that some cops don't use discretion.............
Talking about Police sitting in their cars. What about the fatso they kept showing on the news about the Virginia Tech shooting. So fat he could hardly get out of his own way. He looked as though he was going to have a heart attack. Looked like the first time he'd ever run!

New Zealand "is" a Socialist country, the populace is majority socialist thinking, all of the major political parties on offer are socialist.

They are all left of center. (Including ACT, IMHO)

Look up any definition of Socialism for yourselves and see if it fits.

You can have any colour government you like in NZ as long as it's socialist!

A bit like Henry Fords Model T, any colour you like as long as it's black!

As for the Police Officer changing his sex, it has nothing to do with anyone else, not even his employers, except to change his personal records accordingly.

They employ male and female officers so he/she is still within the scope for the job.

I do object to it being paid for by the taxpayers though, (if it was) it was his/her "choice", not mine or yours!

Good luck to her, life must be tough to have to face up to something like that!

There but for the grace of God, go I. So they say! Cheers John.
