Well in this is thread I'm strangely enough discussing the drop in Police standards over the years. As has been everybody else.

Are you taking some sort of personal offence to this thread?

I'm actually more interested in the fact that - The police are under alot of public attention due to many recent sexual allegations.

Right, now you said standards have dropped compared with 10-20 years ago ......the rape allegations arose during that time, not recently so have standards really dropped?

I failed 5th form school C English, 6th form English - The school wouldn't permit me to do 7th form.
My 5th form maths teacher fought to prevent me sitting SC Maths because I couldn't better than %20 in my dummy run tests.
I've failed biology, chemistry, french miserably. Too dumb to consider calculous - Couldn't even figure out how to spell it!
I went to polytech, failed that and left early to work as a furniture remover.

And somebody here thinks I'm displaying some form of intellect?

What 'standard' has been dropped to let this person into the Police???

As far as I'm concerned I would work alongside 'her', as long as a person can do the job as required I don't care if they're gay, had a gender change or whatever - I don't even need to know about it.

1) This labour government is promoting Chinese trade relations.
The government's trade policies is forcing many NZ companies into offshore production. The government makes these decisions themselves and companies are put in a position whereby they participate or face certain company closure.
That is governmental administration directly affecting this countries production and goods distribution.

Every country on earth is under same pressure. Our labour is, on the global scale, very expensive. You can't blame NZ companies moving production offshore to remain competitive on the labour government.

Would you have them do something to devalue the dollar so much that our motorcycles became impossible to afford but NZ could keep pumping out some manufactured good?

Not saying I agree with it, it's a shame for sure. No, I don't think we should have any trade relations at all with China.

I don't have a major problem with trading with China. It is the Govt not the businesses that is the issue..........I don't believe that buy goods from a Chinese business is saying we support what the Govt are doing.
