Rimutaka Hill Road nice this morning

Just been up to the summit for a ride, absolutely beautiful up there and the road(UH side) is almost dry in all the shady corners too. And the Wairarapa is looking superb too. Get out and Ride today people.

Photo taken at 7:15am is looking towards the Wairarapa from Rimutaka Summit.

    Keen?

He's so bloody keen he convinced me to go up there again with him an hour ago!

A pity the video setup didn't work otherwise you'd be seeing some cool knee down action.

So ... bull - how about a little review of an RF900 from your perspective?

    He's probably still giggling...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

The Takas and the South Wairarapa were littered with "truffle hunters" this morning. Most appeared to be cadets or similar, as most were three-to-a-car and their orange-and-blues didn't have radars fitted.

Yeah, I noticed the same this afternoon as they were all heading back south...

Yep. We saw eight cars coming down the hill today.

And one of them even waved back to me when I waved at them.

It sounds like a few people might have had a rather eventful "dawn ceremony" over there.
