    Thieved jacket -Reward $200.00

I've upped the reward for my stolen Spidi jacket to $200.00, taken in Wellington on April 19th. I saw someone riding with what I believe to be my jacket a couple of days after it was taken. Speaking to the people at TSS, they told me that they know of a couple of riders with a Yellow Spidi like this...if you have a jacket like this, please get in touch with me so I can be sure you don't get nailed!

Contact for me is 972 9199 or Lemonhifi@clear.net.nz.

Yes Yod, pretty much the same design on the back...predominantly yellow. By memory it has a small logo on the back centre, similar to the one on the front, and may also have the name Spidi in larger letters on the back or the sleeve.

    Thanks.

Whilst I respect your loss, I don't think it is up to other owners of similar jackets to inform you that their jacket is genuine.

    Cool

Point taken SteveD....just makes it easier and less hassle for everyone if they do get in touch. The less harassment the better in my view.

Personal opinion, but if you came to me and asked me to prove my jacket was genuine, I would tell you in strong terms to piss off.

Same as SteveD, I respect your loss, but its not up to you to say to others to prove that their jacket is not yours

I dont have a jacket like that........and I dont live where you do. Dont expect people to appraoch you if they have the same jacket........claim your insurance and replace it. I have a jacket, I did pay it, there are plenty around the same, please dont ask me to prove I own it after all these years!

Unless there is a distinguishing mark that sets your jacket out from the rest and you can tell others to be on the look out for this, then I reckon you are going to upset a lot of people with this approach.

Good luck in recovering your stolen garnment.

    I hate thieves.

I am still angry three years later after my flying jacket was pinched when my house got burgled. I still check every jacket to see if it was mine even though I got the insurance. I think I can imagine how you must feel.

    Yea, know what its like.

I met some biker mates one day, and rode back past my house, saw the cops parked on the road (thought it was an accident coz there were cars parked up too) Got back after my ride and didnt realise that it was my place which was burgled.

They caught one of the guys, but the other 2 got away. A week later the place was hit again..

And a few months later it was done over again, so I moved outa there. It's not nice having your privacy invaded like that.
