    Some bikers deserve to crash!

    Number 1..
Had our family outing to the Cold Duck rally. I took the Zed and meon3 was on the back of the trike as my daughter was riding to her first rally.

Coming home north toward Hastings, passed a car on passing lanes. Jamz indicates left then as she veers left two bikes fly past her in the inside lane. Me, grudgenly tootling along at 110, indicate left and pull left. Halfway into lane and WTF I catch a glimpse of this bike at speed coming up my inside!

    Tosser!

    Number 2...

Taupo side of Napier / Taupo highway three BMW GSs parked on side if road. One of them rides along grass verge then suddenly pulls out onto road straight across to centre line!

Me, the trike and a car brake hard and as I was the one on collision course backed off the brake and rode around him, missing him by piss all and out into opposing lane.

Told ya it was dangerous to travel at the speed limit.

Ditto on the morons on two wheels.

Was riding up 16 with Nicksta yesterday and both of us nearly got taken out by some bastards with a deathwish, overtaking towards us on a blind corner. Grrrr.

But... but... but... they're bikers too.... we're meant to side with them and forgive them no matter whjat they do and be 200% anti police if they get pulled over... (NOT!)

    end p/t

Agreed entirely with what's been said previously. I don't care what yout ride drive or fly. Expect no sympathy from me if your actions endanger me or mine. I'll be there to help with their injuries for sure, but they'll also enjoy a few choice offerings of wisdom on the spot.

Hell yes, no excuse for endangering others, even if you are a mate I will tell you not to be such a dick.
Can't bring myself to agree they deserve to crash but they deserve a kick in the arse for being dickheads though.

You're right there. Should have read, No wonder they crash.

The only reason I didn't clip the guy who undertook me was that I spent the whole trip watching my mirrors to see how my daughter was going.

Thing was the pass lanes had just finished and I indicated to let the following bikes know that I was pulling left to let them overtake!

Otherwise was a great weekend. Good people, great weather and wonderfull load of shit spoken between long lost mates.

Sounds like a great weekend mate, good on you for looking out for your girl too, love to hear about families getting out and about together on bikes, congratulations.

You were on passing lanes? Passing in the left hand lane is completely legal in this country. Should he have been going so fast - probably not. Should you have checked your mirrors + blind spot before changing lanes - yep.

On a 5 day road event a few weeks ago, one pair of bikes kept riding like Dickheads, - for example, I passed them, and "they didn't like it" so one of them rode like crazy til he got in front again - I just thought "whatever", til I lost him in traffic. Next day, same pair, thrashed past me and on to a one lane bridge - admittedly in a remote area - but no giving way - and found a 4 X 4 half way across - so they had to stop to let the Cage squeeze past.

I later heard they thrashed past a KBer Mate, only to go in to a corner too hot, the 1st Guy (Batman) had to stand it up to stop, leaving Robin nowhere to go, so down it goes, minor damage, but WTF for?

    DICKHEADS

Pass lanes had ended, down to single lane. Thought, will let folks know I will be keeping left. When he went past I had been indicating at least 3 seconds.

Law is, can pass on left if it is safe to do so. Onus is on the person overtaking.

    That's close enough for me.

Had an interesting ride over Napier/ Taupo highway. Decided to ride the whole way 95-105. A totally new experiance. Did you know there are trees on side of road?

Except when there are separate lanes, then the onus is on the person changing lanes.

everyone makes mistakes, bikers less than cages.

I find I have most of my accidnets when im over the limit.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
