Watched one at the "ken fells MX series" was in the endruo class, looked so good out their
bright green, you would watch it go passed then around the next corner untill out of sight. Other bikes you would watch go passed but not bother watching them disapear, always woundering when that green machine would go passed again.

Did the 1st service on our 1 (which has been sold but stays at the shop until our next ones arrive) today after a trail ride on Sunday a few observations though are Fark it collects some shite around the motor especially around the front sprocket & also the bash-plate and brush guards. The wiring for the tail-light isn't going to last long

The owner reckoned the bike had enough tit to keep almost everything behind it at the trail ride and the suspension was the plushest he'd ridden on.

Might just see what it'll do tomorrow seeing the motor has loosened up a bit now

Tks for the info & the offer Scott, the bike shop in KeriKeri has one which I'm going for a quick ride on this avo, so if it goes well I'll see about that one.

It'll be a scarey thing for a bit jumping to a 450, but yours & other comment's I've read make it sound like it's one awesome bike & hey I might make time at the Taupo TTR with some more power unlike Hukerenui ( just kidding, it'll be me growing some gonad's & going quicker that'll do that ).

I like what I have read re how quiet they are, might win a few more friends with quieter bikes.

They do look nice though, but compared to the 2008 KTMs, I am not so sure

I had a quick ride this afternoon, everyone says it's power is smooth, but damn it's smooth.

You could well be right on the 2k8 KTM's, but $2,500 is a fair whack of change & I figure it'll be a few years before ( if ever ) I would be able to exploit the difference .

I guess I have green fever, I've really liked the KLX300 along the shop I deal with, so the 450 just feels like a nice upgrade, a heap of real linear grunt ( not sure about whats at the top mind you, that might be brutal ), the handling I won't really find out about unless I buy it

Well this is now sitting in my garage

The left engine guard got "missed" at the shop, so I'll sort that out Monday.

you're going to have some fun!

The engine guards come already fitted to the bike in the crate so unless it was missed in the factory (highly unlikely) the shop has burgled it for another bike
