RG100 and I had been discussing a while back about getting a 450 MX engine and putting it in my RG. All my money will be going towards paying off the VFR though
I thought Nighthawk would be a fitting name, just like how I called the RG Purple Fury. Then again the Nighthawk is a squarish looking jet and the VFR is pretty curvy

I might have to take my crappy BMX to school for another week. I already had some girls laugh at me on it on the way to work and it's starting to creak and I expect it to break in half

My plans to build up the second RG to sell and pay off some of the VFR debt have gone out the window. I'll be putting the second bikes engine into this seized RG to get that going. As for the second one, no use trying to fix the seized engine as it's likely to cost around $1500 to repair so I may as well buy a new engine for it. Anyway, an RG engine wouldn't do it's nice looking frame justice

Only my brother's and Dad's bikes get the finest oil. Dad pays $60 a litre for the stuff that goes into them. I however have to pay for everything myself on $60 a week cause I get paid less than minimum wage. Considering I use about half a litre of oil a week, paying for top oil will mean I can't pay for petrol and there really isn't any point in getting oil but not petrol
Plus it's just as likely to fuck up with the nice stuff when you take Murphey's Law into account

a 450Mx engine would be mint as!, would u use it on the road or race it? (F3???), would have to change the gearing tho, how about a 250 2 stroke single MX engine, probably could pick one up rather cheap, it would have a mean as power band!
True, still had a fairly high redline. And I used the whole rev range to actually get it moving. So basically I killed my poor RG

Probably race it as the rego will die (unless you can ut it on hold forever but I have my doubts). And I had thought of a 2 stroke, just a 450 would be cooler (unless I managed to buy a 500 2 stroke). However if I find a cheap 250 and I have the cash at the time I'll go for it

That's a bit odd... was the speedo saying 140? They get up to 180km/h @ 12,000RPM, but they are only doing 150km/h (very badly out speedo)... I had mine sitting at redline for about 10 minutes and I didn't have any problems with mine... what oil were you using? please don't say 'any old service station 2t oil'... I used to run mine on either R2 or TTS
