You're revealing my hidden agenda... eventually someone will say "that looks nothing like MY Triumph Thruxton!" and before they've wiped the spittle from their chin, I'll be in their garage with my socket set and my loot bag...

Hahaha... I actually quite like the look of the Volty, especially the model with silver with tan upholstry. I guess I just like that old aesthetic. Wouldn't mind a Volty rear guard, to see if it'll fit on my bike with the slow-moving caffeination I'm subjecting it to.

That Trumpy is a modern Trumpy, i.e. not a `real' one, so both bikes are of a similar vein, really -- both modern retrospective bikes drawing inspiration from 1960s road bikes. The Volty just looks a little more squashed -- I bet yours looks even more so!!

I think you and Skelstar need to put your glasses on :P

Maybe it'd be a bit clearer if you put them next to each other in real life! hah

Yeah I'm pretty ok (cracked ribs, a little concussion). And the bike's not really that bad either. I'm going to buy back the "wreck" from the insurers and fix it up... to look just like a Trumpy!

Oh cool! You really want to make it look like a Trumpy? I know where to get some mint clip-ons... and bar-end mirrors, and short little single-seats...

Café Volty!! Can buy bits in pairs for my bike too

My bike comes home on Saturday! woohoo!
Then I'll make a parts list, then trumpy owners better start looking out for me sneaking around your bike with my spanner poised...
