"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.
That's what I was saying.. there are plenty of people who'll offer the help you want and have the patience and experience to mentor you properly. Jim2 or Riffer are top blokes... Mrs Kendog is a good 'un too....
Nasty and Grub are lovely people who would gladly help you... there are so many in Welly that'll help without judgement or lack of patience.
You have to give people a chance and you will be pleasantly surprised. Thats a guarantee
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them

He has the patience of a saint and he will come over to help you out...
He started out on a GN250.
Otherwise, if you live in a quiet street just ride up and down for about 1 hour at a time and do all the practise stuff over and over. Or head to your local industrial area in the weekends, as no one is around there then and the ideal time to learn.
Check out BuckBuckNo1 thread that he started on 'Training and learning to ride'
Good luck.
Thanks for the humour, I think I'll go and check someone who cares....and I still ain't blonde![]()
I don't mind either - it's just that people say I'm ... intimidating - wouldn't wanna scare ya!

get someone to drop you and your bike off way away from home and you will learn very quickly how to ride it
