They already have a 690 motard - link here

I'm waiting for the enduro or adventure models and it looks like things are getting close

(yes I know about the previous discussions on here and ADV rider)

    Cheers R

I think the 690 Supermoto was inspired by Woody Wood Pecker.

The Baja would be a far better base for a motard.
    The factory is just ugly.
Unless someone was upgrading from an XTZ660 motard when it would look fantastic to them.

There's alledgedly another 690 motard listed on KTM's model pipeline to come out 08/09 . A 690 SMC based on the above would be pretty cool.

It's going to be interesting to see what they come up with for the new Duke III which is also in the pipeline, the Dukes have traditionally had the most 'out-there' styling, it'll be hard to top the 690SM for out-thereness.

    Cheers

Yeah, thats a bit harsh I reckon, the XT660 motard looks pretty good to me, the dirt version however is a 12 pint shocker in the looks department.

    Cheers

Was just saying that if you liked the XT660 tard, then you'd probably like the factory KTM 690 tard...

    I don't tho...
