Thats actually kind of cool,in an old school "Brooklands Racer" style
"The road to Hell is really grippy with loads of run off & some wicked lefthanders"
No brakes, sideways on a manicured half -mile oval. oooh yeah.![]()
Clean, no bling.

I had a listen to the interview with the winner. He is a speedway fanatic and wanted to build a custom based on the speedway formula. He will not trial the bike on a speedway track before the World Champs. But after he is planning to do so.
So I would say that the tyres are speedway ones.
The builder is from Finland. At the World Champs all place getters go up and get their cheque and say a few words like: "Thanks to my mate, the local shop and..." The spectators go: "Yeaaahhh, alright.." and clap their hands. When he went up and they gave him the mic he stood quiet for a few seconds, then he said: "Yesterday we went to this reserve and there we met this squirrel that could talk..." Not a sound from the stunned spectators. He gave the mic back and walked down.
A man that thinks outside the sqare. :-)
Also, all that travel there book them self in to hotels, get rental cars etc. He and his mates lived in a big cardboard box the whole time. And they were there to party.![]()
I try again. Lets hope it sticks this time:
start exresi...exarsis... xarsi...ahhh, running or buy a smaller ass.

If I can't ride it to work, no matter how much of a prick that would be, then it's not a bike. First one, nearly, second one... let me know when he finishes it, third one, wtf? Minimalist is cool to look at for sure, but making something good looking that is fully functional as well, that's even cooler. Some will say 'You're missing the point!', I say, 'Looks like I'm not the only one'.
Its helpful if you dont view these as motorbikes: its ART.
they're sculptures: they just happen to vaguely resemble something that might kind of be a motorbike.
for the record, I like the one the dude in the top hat has.
and the speedway one. (I also like stuff like the US based guys board track inspired ones: Roland Sands one with the V5, but betterer is Roger Goldammer's one.. the red one.)
I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave
Indeed they are art, and mighty good art some of them. Unfortunately they're not entered in an art competition though (although that's debatable).
